Graphic Design work for the Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival
All the graphic design work I did for JRMF was done as part of a team, so it is hard to separate out what I created. Pictured below is the one project where I feel like I stayed the lead designer from 2020 until 2023. I was tasked with creating a set of icons for the many activities that used to be available on the JRMF website. Since I started this project, JRMF has limited their offerings to to their current favorite activities.
I see this group of 72 activity icons as logos for different games that have all been designed to interest an audience of educators, parents, and students. This set shows my pleasure in creating a variety of illustrative styles and compositions.
These activity icons give enough information to reveal some aspect of the game in the hopes to get you curious to play it and help you to remember something about it so that you can find it again.
As the team developed an activity, sometimes the icon would need to be changed, so many of these icons have several iterations. The ones shown on this page are my favorites. Most of these icons were designed by me in Illustrator, except for a few where I only set up a little composition of parts made by others.
